Explore our Ready To Order Collections and choose a suite that speaks to your unique style. Then use our contact form to let us know you are ready to begin. We will get in touch right away to help you through the process of selecting colors, customizing your wording, and choosing a printing method.

MAKE IT YOURS

Everything is customizable!  

Pieces - Choose which pieces you need.

Colors - All color combinations are possible. We encourage you to share your event color palette with us and we can offer suggestions.

Wording - You will provide the verbiage you would like to use on all pieces. We can also help with wording suggestions!

SELECT PAPER & PRINTING METHODS

Our designs were intentionally created to look great with different papers.

Here are the most common print methods we use:

Digital/Flat $ - Digital printing takes a digital image and transfers it to paper, creating a smooth image with no impressions or raised text. No special plate is needed (unlike letterpress or foil) so this is our more affordable option for printing and works great for designs with many colors.

Digital/ Raised Metallic $$- This printing option allows you to add pops of metallic to you invite with ink that is raised and gives the invite interest and a smooth texture. 

Letterpress $$$ - A printing technique where a raised plate of your design is inked and pressed into paper. Each sheet is fed individually through an antique printing press, leaving a deep, luxe, tactile impression. 

STUFF, SEAL AND SEND

Once your invitations are printed you can choose to take it from here, or let us do the rest. Here are the final steps:

Guest Addressing - We can digitally print your guest addresses on the envelopes for you.  We’ll just need you to fill in the spreadsheet we provide.

Embellishments - Ribbon, wax seals, stickers, vellum wraps, and belly bands are all great ways to tie your suite together. We are happy to help select the best way for your suite to stand out and stay together.

Assembly - Your invitations need to be assembled, stuffed and sealed before they are mailed.  We offer this service. 

Postage - Postage will be determined based on the final weight and size of your suite.  Have us determine which stamps to use.  We can even source postage if that is something you are interested in.

CONSULTATION & BOOKING

Let’s chat! We want to hear your story and understanding your vision. This can happen on a phone call, video chat, over email, or in person. Then, we’ll put together a quote with costs, ideas and timeline.

INSPIRATION

We’ll send you a questionnaire to get all the details about your project. We will combine any inspiration images you provide along with additional inspiration we find to create a moodboard.  We’ll share it with you to confirm we are on the right track before we start designing.

DESIGN CONCEPTS

By now we are ready to tap into our creative zone and begin working on design concepts. We will generally show 2-3 concepts depending on the type of project. You will select your favorite concept and provide any additional feedback for us to incorporate.

PROOFING, PRINTING, AND OR EXPORTING

When the design is complete, we will send you a final proof to make sure every last detail is correct. Once you have approved the final proof we will move your project into production. 

FINISHING TOUCHES

Once printing is complete, we will carefully pack up your project for shipment. For invitations, we also offer hand lettered envelopes, sourced postage, assembly and mailing services.

When should I order my invites from
QueenBee Design Studio?

These are general timelines that we suggest. Factors such as destination weddings or holidays can effect when you should order and mail your invitations. Our lead time on our semi custom suites average around 7 - 8 weeks from design to shipping where our full custom designs can take on average 10 - 14 weeks.
